His first practices were in Columbus/Dayton, but now considers Cincinnati home. Dr. Allen attended DePauw University on a scholarship and graduated in 1983 with degrees in Biology and Chemistry. While at DePauw he served on the local ambulance service as an Emergency Medical Technician and later worked as a medical tech at St. Mary's Hospital while putting himself through school. This experience would later serve him well in his practice emphasis on IV Sedation, implants and surgery. After undergraduate school he decided to become a Buckeye by attending The Ohio State University Dental Program, graduating in 1987. Dr. Allen continues to be passionate about dentistry and an avid learner after traveling for continuing education courses to expand his knowledge base.When out of the office, Dr. Allen is a private pilot and enjoys following his beloved Chicago Cubs and Buckeyes.
